Compensation Management and Fringe Benefits

At TURK PETROLEUM A.Ș, we structure our compensation management system around a fair and competitive policy that is driven by market data, job size, and individual performance.

To complement our salary structure, we offer a variety of fringe benefits designed to address the diverse needs and expectations of our colleagues.

Compensation

We implement a job-based compensation model that is independent of title or individual and is determined through a structured job evaluation methodology.

This process relies on an international evaluation system that assesses each role’s contribution to company results and ranks them according to their level of responsibility. By conducting regular market compensation surveys, we ensure our remuneration policy remains both fair and competitive, while consistently recognizing and rewarding high performance. We conduct regular salary reviews and make necessary adjustments in accordance with current economic conditions.

For our hourly employees, we implement the wage terms established under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Industrial Relations

At TURK PETROLEUM A.Ș, we carry out our responsibilities in accordance with clearly defined roles, authorities, and obligations. In doing so, we comply with applicable legislation, the Employee Regulation, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and company policies.

True to our corporate culture, we respect the union rights of all our employees and ensure they are free to exercise these rights. We support their membership in trade unions and non-governmental organizations, provided such entities are legally constituted. All hourly paid employees are union members and work under the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Since our establishment, we have consistently signed collective bargaining agreements. In workplaces where the Petrol-İş Union is active, we maintain the legally required number of union representatives.

Currently, nearly 70 percent of our employees are members of the Petrol-İş Union, with which we negotiate and renew our collective bargaining agreement every three years. We distribute the latest version of the agreement to all unionized employees in printed booklet form and also make it available on the TURK PETROLEUM A.Ș intranet portal.

We continuously update our working models to meet the evolving demands of the business and future expectations. To improve operational quality and efficiency, we implement new, fit-for-purpose approaches. We also value the insights of our colleagues, gathering their feedback through one-on-one meetings, surveys, workshops, and via our union representatives.
